Green Initiatives

The environment of this University of Michigan neighborhood is a critical part of the future success of our members and our community. The Association has worked with the City and County to enhance recycling opportunities for area businesses and residents. We have supported the construction of more environmentally friendly buildings in the neighborhood, alternative means of transportation for commuting, the use of led lighting for streetlights and holiday displays, and enhanced biking paths and parking spaces for area cyclists. The Association is committed to working to reduce pollution, increase energy efficiency, and improve the quality of life for every person who lives, works, or visits our neighborhood.
